VERMILLION Co., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Vermillion County man was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Vermillion County Dispatch was notified of a vehicle sitting in the middle of the road. Once officers arrived on the scene, they found Robert L. Johnson II, 32, of Cayuga, asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle.
Johnson gave officers consent to search the vehicle. During the search, Johnson tried to toss a plastic bag out of the vehicle.
Officers recovered the plastic bag and also located a glass pipe and digital scales in Johnson’s vehicle.
Johnson is being held in the Vermillion County Jail.
Bond is set for $10,000 with 10% allowed.
