Clark County, Illinois authorities are investigating the death of a jail inmate.
43 year old Shannon Patten of Tolono, Illinois was found dead as officers were doing a routine cell check of the jail just before noon on Saturday.
An autopsy was set for yesterday but results have not yet been released.
