Rihanna is a top-selling music artist with a big movie -- Battleship -- about to open in theaters. But depending on the results of Time magazine's yearly poll, she also might be among the world's 100 most influential people.
The magazine's prestigious "100" list will be unveiled on Wednesday, and even if Rihanna's not on it, she'll still provide the entertainment for the annual star-studded gala celebrating the issue. Scheduled for April 24 at New York City's Jazz at Lincoln Center, the event will also boast a keynote address by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton .
Jeremy Lin , Chelsea Handler , Claire Danes , Matt Lauer and Louis C.K. are just a handful of the notable people who are expected at the gala, which brings together world leaders, entertainers, philanthropists, politicians and business leaders. Photos, videos and reporting from the event will be available on Time.com, and @Time will post updates on Twitter.
