A farming accident sends a Clay County man to the hospital.  According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Department, they received a call about a farming accident around 11:30am Friday morning.  Officials say 59 year old Larry Knust was working in a rural area near Cory when he got his foot caught in an auger.  He was unable to free himself before his lower leg was amputated.  After he drove to get help, he was airlifted to Indianapolis.
