SULLIVAN, IND (WIBQ)-A Sullivan County man faces 45 years in prison after pleading guilty to murder.

           

35-year-old Gregory Hale admitted he killed Jennifer Peaks in a mobile home near Paxton last summer. He then told the court he knocked over a candle inside the trailer and let it burn.

 

Hale also admitted to stealing a truck belonging to Peaks' father. He was sentenced to 45 years in prison for murder.

           

Hale was also sentenced to nine years on two arson charges. The sentences will run concurrently.

           

Hale was also fined 300 dollars plus court costs.
