Terre Haute (WIBQ)-As police investigate the death of her infant son, a local woman has been arrested for prescription fraud. Jessie Maesch was in court yesterday and had bail set at $50,000. She was arrested at the east Walmart Wednesday night when, according to police, she tried to pick up prescriptions for Xanax and other drugs with a fake ID. The judge also denied her request to attend her son's funeral after police say the death is being considered suspicious. West Terre Haute police are investigating the death of Landon Maesch, and hope autopsy results will give them an indication of what happened to the infant. Police say they were called to the family's home on a report that the child was unresponsive. When they arrived the boy's father was already doing CPR.
