TERRE HAUTE (WIBQ) - Vigo County Health Department officials want to eliminate smoking indoors in nearly every building, except your own home. This would include all public buildings, bars, and restaurants.
The Vigo County Health Department presented a proposal to ban indoor smoking and presented it to the Vigo County Commissioners on Tuesday. Vigo County Commissioners are considering the ordinance. If it passes it will not go into effect until 2012.
