OSSEO, Wis (WSAU) An 83-year-old farmer from Osseo is dead after a cornfield fire from Saturday.
It's believed that sparks from Spencer Pederson's tractor started the fire. He may have tried to put it out himself. He was eventually surrounded by the flames, and was severely burned. He died after being taken to the burn unit at Regions Medical Center in St Paul, Minnesota.
Two other people were burned. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.
