Sheboygan, Wis. (WHBL) - A couple of Waupun prison inmates charged with threatening two Sheboygan County judges were back in Sheboygan County Court yesterday. 30 year old Wallace Martonez and 27 year old Jesse Williams appeared before Manitowoc County judge Patrick Willis and demanded preliminary hearings which were set for May 11th. Willis is handling the case following recusal of Sheboygan County judges. The men allegedly sent letters to Judges Timothy Van Akkeren and Gary Langhoff threatening to kill each judge along with their children. Martonez was sentenced by Van Akkeren to two years in prison for a 2005 sexual assault conviction and he was sent back to prison for 42 months after his supervision was revoked in 2007. Neither of the men had appeared before Langhoff. They are each now facing another 8 years in prison if convicted.
