"Breaking The Seal" Is A Myth?

Posted by Just Plain Joe on

You're out drinking with your friends and you get to the point where you have to go to the bathroom but you don't want to "break the seal" and have to go every 2 minutes. Well, it turns out that is a myth.

Dr. Courtney Moore, a urologist in Cleveland, OH, says there's absolutely NO scientific evidence behind "breaking the seal."

"Alcohol is REALLY GOOD at making you pee, because you're drinking a lot of liquid AND because it makes your brain release a chemical called ADH, which redirects water from your body to your bladder."

"So it's not that you've "broken the seal" and that's why you have to keep going to the bathroom . . . it's just that your bladder QUICKLY gets filled up as you drink."

I guess this means I can drink more when I'm out and not have to worry about the seal? JACKPOT!!!
