Anchorman: The Legend Of Ron Burgandy is one of my favorite movies, so I'm SUPER pumped for this news. Christina Applegate, who played female anchor Veronica Corningstone, will return for the sequel! 

Applegate revealed last week that she had not formally been invited back. Director Judd Apatow quickly put any rumors to an end. "She will be back!" Apatow exclaimed to E! News.

I can't wait to see the Channel 4 News Team assemble again!
