Well...for now.
Tatum is taking the year of 2013 off from acting so he can focus on pursuing his next goal: director.
“[Reid and I] have about three to four ideas that we love that are all in the hopper. By the end of next year, we’re going to shut things down and write the first thing that we’re going to direct,” Tatum says. Reid is his co-director.
This doesn't mean you won't see him in films next year. He has about 3-4 already finished that are set to be released in 2013. Look for him in the medical thriller Side Effects, drama Foxcatcher, and action packed White House Down.
