It's been at least 10 years and I'm still pretty bitter about this, but a girl I was dating stole one of my favorite items of jewelry. I had the coolest Superman necklace that I have never been able to find again anywhere and I lent it to her to wear cause it was high school and that's what you did. Well we broke up and she never gave it back no matter how many times I asked. She eventually admitted she lost it somewhere, so needless to say I'm glad I broke up with her. 

I'm reminded of this because of a recent survey:

According to a new survey,  one in seven have women have thrown out an ex's clothes out of anger and one in 12 have destroyed clothes or other possessions belonging to an ex.
