We got an email from a listener over the weekedn asking us about our stance on the Ouija board and when it's appropriate to get one for your kid if ever. Here is the email:

I'm 45, I have an 11-year-old daughter, and for some reason she really wants a Ouija board. She said it'd be cool for Halloween, and she wants to play it with her friends. I know it's not real, but the idea bothers me.  It makes me think of every horror movie where kids joke around with game, and something bad happens "Paranormal Activity", the little girl in the "The Exorcist".

 Should I let my daughter have a Ouija board? Is there anything to be afraid of?

I've always been scared of the Ouija board just because I grew up believing in spirits and ghosts and things. Even now I don't ever want to have one inside my house even though I know it's just crazy superstitions. What advice do you have for Jane?
