My friend has a problem. She has been with her boyfriend for over four years and he still hasn't proposed yet. She didn't mind the first three years because she wanted to make sure that he was "the one" but now she is starting to worry.

Her parents, family and friends are all starting to ask what is going on between them and when they are planning to getting married. She has to keep saying that she has "no idea".

She is getting into her mid-thirties and was hoping to have children but she wanted to be married first. Now she is thinking that neither of those things are going to happen and she is worried that she will be waiting forever if she stays with her current boyfriend.

She asked me if I thought she should wait much longer and I didn't know what to say.
