Nominations for this year's Oscars were announced yesterday, and "Lincoln" got the most, with 12.  "Life of Pi" was a close second with 11 . . . followed by "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Les Misérables" with eight.  The Oscars air Sunday, February 24th on ABC.

Charlie Sheen is donating $12,000 to pay for the funeral of the phographer killed trying to get a picture of Justin Bieber.

Tyler Perry is offering a $100,000 reward for information in the case of two men who disappeared in the Naples, Florida area in 2003. So far no one has been arrested or investigated.

Justin Bieber is being sued for allegedly attacking one of his bodyguards.  Moshe Benabou says Justin berated him and punched him in the chest multiple times.

"Gangster Squad" and "A Haunted House" are this week's new movies. "Zero Dark is also expanding to 2400 theaters. 

There's been some talk over the years about a live-action "Star Wars" TV show, but nothing ever got off the ground.  Well, now that Disney controls Lucasfilm . . . the project may finally get rolling at ABC, which is also owned by Disney.

Justin Timberlake posted a video on a site that's counting down to midnight, Sunday night.  In the video, he says he's "ready" to return to his music career.  It's unclear what's coming . . . but it's probably details on a new album . . . a single . . . tour dates . . . or some combination of those.

Beyonce has reunited with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams to record the first new Destiny's Child single in eight years.  The song, "Nuclear", will be released on an upcoming compilation album.  There's also talk that Kelly and Michelle will join Beyoncé during her Super Bowl performance next month.
