During her performance of "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", Taylor Swift apparently took a shot at her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles of One Direction. She said, quote, "So he calls me up and he's like, 'I still love you'" . . . and she used a BRITISH accent.
During a "Saturday Night Live" skit this weekend, Justin Bieber apologized for getting caught smoking special cigarettes earlier this year. He was playing Miley Cyrus' biggest fan on a "Miley Cyrus Show" sketch.
Justin Bieber tried to counter-program against the Grammys by live-streaming for an hour during the show. Technical difficulties prevented him from doing so. He tried to make it up to his fans by posting a new video on Twitter, and that plan got fouled up, too. He ended up posting part of an unfinished song on SoundCloud.
Chris Brown crashed his Porsche into a wall on Saturday afternoon. His rep says he was trying to avoid aggressive paparazzi. He added that Chris would seek criminal charges AND sue them. But the photographers say Chris is full of it, and they didn't arrive until after the accident.
The Jason Bateman-Melissa McCarthy comedy "Identity Thief" was a hit at the box office this weekend, making $36.6 million. "Side Effects" opened at #3 with $10 million . . . and the limited release of "Top Gun 3D" made less than $2 million in 11th place.
Eminem will release his next album sometime this year. His manager says we can expect it "post-Memorial Day." There are no further details. (Full Story)
According to UK’s Daily Mail, Adele banks a mesmerizing $65,000 a day, making the 24-year old worth close to $25 million. Of course most of Adele’s money comes from the global success of her latest album 21, which, coincidentally, has sold about 25 million copies.
