It turns out only 60% of us celebrate Valentine's Day - which makes it the second most unpopular holiday in the US behind St. Patrick's Day.

It isn't just singles who hate the "Hallmark holiday". Some of those in relationships don't like the holiday either. Whether it's because they don't want to waste money during tough times on a holiday or that it's too commercialized.

But for singles, of course, there is dread related to being reminded that there isn't someone special waiting for you at home with a card. Restaurants are trying to cater to singles and offer them special deals for groups of single friends.
