The Food Network FIRED Paula Deen on Friday after it became public that she admitted during a court deposition that she's used the N-word.  Earlier in the day, Paula issued two bizarre apology videos that didn't do her public image any favors.

 

A doctor in the Michael Jackson wrongful death trial testified that Michael may have gone 60 days without any real sleep leading up to his death.  That's because he was taking propofol, which knocks you out, but deprives your body of the sleep cycles it needs.  He noted that lab rats die in about FIVE WEEKS under similar conditions.

 

"Monsters University" made $82 million at the box office this weekend, easily beating"World War Z's" $66 million.  This is the 14th straight #1 movie for Pixar, and their second-biggest debut EVER, behind "Toy Story 3".

 

Not many people have met little North West yet, oddly Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak has. Wozniak revealed on Piers Morgan Live that Kim Kardashian had arranged for him to meet Kanye West as a surprise for the rapper’s 36th birthday.

 

"Independence Day" director Roland Emmerich says Will Smith will NOT be back for the sequel because, quote, "he's too expensive."  He added that the cast will consist of, quote, "maybe half of the people that you would know from the first film and the other half people who are new."

 

Jim Carrey stars in the upcoming sequel Kick-Ass 2, but he took to Twitter yesterday to announce that he will not be supporting the film due to its extreme violence. “I did Kick-Ass 2 a month b4 Sandy Hook and now in all good conscience I cannot support that level of violence,” he Tweeted Sunday. Carrey plays a vigilante named Colonel Stars and Stripes.

 

Family sources say that Paris Jackson is "doing better" at UCLA Medical Center but still in denial and is fighting therapy. She will be moved to another treatment facility and she could be there for 3 months. Her family also says she is deep in the “cutting world” and they do not believe the sucide was a cry for help.

 


Chris Brown has reportedly cut a Rihanna duet from his upcoming album, "X", because he and Rihanna are no longer together.
