At the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, Paris Hilton  and her boyfriend River Viiperi were swarmed by fans and photographers.  River was obviously not enjoying it . . . and at one point he SHOVED a female fan twice.

 

According to a new poll, Will Ferrell  is the funniest person in America right now.  He's followed by Tina Fey,Chris RockDaniel Tosh and Jon Stewart, in that order.

 

Sinbad has filed for bankruptcy . . . for the second time since 2009.  He claims he has $11 million in debt, including $8.3 million in state and federal back taxes.  Also, he "only" earns $16,000 a month, which isn't enough to keep up with his bills.  Meanwhile, he only has $131,000 in assets.

 

Seth MacFarlane will NOT host the Oscars again next year, thanks to a scheduling conflict.  His suggestion for host is Joaquin Phoenix.

 

There's a rumor going around that Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be in the new "Star Wars" movie that's being directed byJ.J. ABRAMS.  There's no word what role he'd play.  Rhys Meyers plays Henry the 8th on "The Tudors".  He also plays the title character on"Dracula", a new series debuting this fall on NBC.

 

Fox has confirmed that the new "X Factor" judges are Kelly Rowland from Destiny's child and Latin singer Paulina Rubio. They're replacing Britney Spears and L.A. Reid next season.

 

CBS was supposed to air the season finale of "Mike & Molly" last night, but they pulled it at the last minute because it was about a TORNADO was descending on Chicago.  They aired a re-run instead. 

 

Michael Jackson wrote a "manifesto" to himself when he was 21, where he laid out a plan to go from being a child star to an adult superstar.  He said, quote, "'MJ' will be my new name.  No more Michael Jackson.  I want a whole new character, a whole new look.  I should be a totally different person.
