A Bigger Chef's Table at Savour Green Bay

by Jeff Flynt

You can mark your calendars for the 2013 Savour Green Bay event. It'll take place June 21 and 22 in downtown Green Bay.

But on Wednesday, tickets go on sale for one the best parts of Savour. Tasting Tickets are available for $10.

What those tickets get you is a front row seat for the demonstrations of some of the Green Bay area's finest chefs. Think of it as a larger, outdoor chef's table.

The tickets also include a complimentary sample of the featured dish, beer or wine pairing sample, complimentary beverage coupon, and other perks.

"The response to the demos is phenomenal," says Mosaic Arts, Inc. Executive Director and all-around food fan Tina Quigley. "We had 5 last year and there were 30 tickets available, which were quickly taken."

Quigley points out that this year, much like in 2012, there will be other seating for the demonstrations for free on a first-come, first-served basis.

"This year, we've increased the number of demonstrations to 7 and we've increased the tasting spots from 30 to 48," says Quigley. "We're providing a value back for people who are buying the tickets."

Here's the demonstration schedule:
