Neither Katy Perry or Russell Brand have said much about each other since their divorce, but that just changed. Leave it to Ellen for getting one of them to talk.

Brand had nothing but affectionate praise for his ex speaking with Ellen DeGeneres on a Thursday appearance on Ellen.

"I still love her as a human being," Brand said. "But, sometimes when you're in a relationship I suppose it doesn't work out, does it? But that doesn't mean I regret it or anything.

"I was very happy to be married with her," Brand continued. "She's such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her."

Reflecting on the bitter split, Brand said, "You can't absolutely make everything the way you want it to be in life. Sometimes thing are just different and then you to just move with that and try and remain in contact with what is beautiful about yourself and each other with any situation."

He called Perry "a person I still consider to be beautiful . . . I have nothing but positivity for her."

Still, late last week, Brand finally decided to unfollow his ex on Twitter.

Well, X-Factor has Britney Spears and Demi Lovato, so they are out of the running... But "American Idol" is on the hunt for another female judge.

According to Us Weekly and E News, Jennifer Lopez will not be returning to "Idol". Check out the story here...

Jennifer Lopez is saying sayonara to Ryan Seacrest, Randy Jackson, Steven Tyler and the gang. 

The "I'm Into You" singer is leaving American Idol after serving as a judge on the reality competition since 2010, a source confirms to Us Weekly. (E! News first broke the story.)

"There is just too much going on for her right now," explains the source.

Lopez, 42, just landed the top spot on Forbes' 2012 list of most powerful celebrities. One of the biggest reasons for her ranking was her Idol gig, which, in addition to its $20 million payday, provided a platform for her to land lucrative endorsements with L'Oreal and Gillette, as well as launch a clothing line and popular fragrance.

This summer, the pop star will embark on a 20-city tour of the U.S. and Latin America with Enrique Iglesias with dates that conflict with Idol's pre-taping schedule; she's also in the midst of recording a new album, with numerous film projects on her slate as well (including a role in this summer's Ice Age 4: Continental Drift).

"She regrets she can't stay on the show," the source adds. "It's been an incredible experience and she is forever grateful that she did it."

Earlier this month, the mom to twins Max and Emme, 4, who is currently starring in What to Expect While You're Expecting, opened up to Us Weekly during a press conference for the film about her jam-packed schedule.

"I'm a little tired right now, I'm not going to lie," Lopez admitted to Us about doing her best to balance it all. "I've been rehearsing, doing Idol, promoting this movie... the kids, it's a lot of stuff!"

Still, she said, she feels lucky to be staying as busy as she is. "I feel really in the zone," she shared. "I feel really good about everything, I feel like everything's going so well. I feel blessed, I do."

Katherine Jenkins got injured on Dancing With The Star last night... But what happened? And how is she now?

Her pro dance, Mark Ballas apologized via Twitter that they were unable to finish their dance.

“sry guys we couldn’t finish R dance. Katherine hurt her back, I tried my best not let her fall at the end,” he wrote, adding that he hoped fans would still vote them into next week’s finale.

Jenkins later took to Twitter herself, revealing that the doctor said she had “a reflectorical spasm in my lower back.”

“Thank you all for your concerned tweets,” she added.
