  • Awesome Future Tech!

    Posted by Nick Steele

Everyday there seems to be a new piece of technology that just blows me away and gets put on my "I Want" list. Today is no different. There is now a suitcase called the "Hop" after Bellhop, the guy who usually carries your luggage.

Why is it cool? Because it FOLLOWS you around wirelessly! It keeps in contact with your cellphone by recieveing and sending signals back and forth. Once you start to walk away it picks itself up and follows you (I KNOW RIGHT?!) and if you happen to stray to far away from it, it send your phone vibrations to get your attention AND if that still doesn't work it LOCKS itself down.

So if someone runs by and grabs it, once it gets a certain distance away it will lock itself. I love technology... If you want to see a video about this click HERE

  • Which Celebrity Wants to Buy Honey Boo Boo a House?

    Posted by Nick Steele

If you haven't seen the show "Honey Boo Boo" you are probabaly the luckiest person alive. Either way it's a huge TV hit and you either love it or hate it. Rosie O'Donnell LOVES it so much that she wants to buy the family a new house. Rosie even goes as far as comparing Honey Boo Boo to Shirley Temple (WHAT?)

Rosie says quote "She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years."

    ... I guess I'm watching a different show...

But this led to an interesting question. We all have our guilty pleasures in life, from what TV shows we watch to what song on the radio we sing too but don't want anyone to know. If you are brave enough, list your guiltiest pleasure below. What movie do you LOVE? What song is your fav? What are you ashamed to admit to people out loud? This is your chance to let it all out! I'll start...

I LOVE "The Notebook" and cry almost every time I watch it.

I play Pokemon almost everyday and have collected them all.

One of my favorite songs of all time is "Weak" By SWV

and I get nerdy excited anytime Boyz II Men do anything!

    ..your turn!

  • That's the WEIRDEST Thing I've Ever Heard

Meg Griffin blinks in the Toilet

Everyone has something weird about themselves that they don't want anyone to know. It can be SUPER weird or it could just be something you think is weird but either way we all have something. We got an email from Erica that was as follows

My husband and I dated for two years, and earlier this year we got married.
It's also the first time we've lived together. I thought I knew pretty much all there
was to know about him. Unfortunately, I was horribly wrong.
Last week, I found out that before my husband uses the bathroom . . . as in,
sits down to take care of business . . . he takes off ALL HIS CLOTHES.
Apparently he thinks they'll be 'dirty' if he leaves them on.
Do other guys take off their clothes to go number two?

    -Erica-

Wasn't that a Seinfeld episode? Have you discovered anything about your significant other that seems bizarre to you? Did you confront them about it? Let us know in the comments below!

  • When No One Else Will Hug You...

You can always buy this new vest that gives you a hug everytime you get a "like" on Facebook. (Go ahead and read that sentence again...I'll wait...) YUP!! A vest that HUGS you every time you get a LIKE on FACEBOOK! Isn't that the saddest thing you have ever heard?

We have officially become a sad society that spends too much time on social media and less time focusing on the true relationships in our lives. CONGRATS!

Here is the official description of what is called "Like-A-Hug"

Like-A-Hug is a wearable social media vest that allows for hugs to be given via Facebook, bringing us closer despite physical distance. The vest inflates when friends 'Like' a photo, video, or status update on the wearer's wall, thereby allowing us to feel the warmth, encouragement, support, or love that we feel when we receive hugs. Hugs can also be sent back to the original sender by squeezing the vest and deflating it.

You're goiong to get one aren't you?

After finding a list of the most popular phrases from the 90's I realized 2 things. One is that I still use about 95% of them everyday and number two, words you use define the era you grew up in. We all have those phrase or words that we use that feel natural to us because we don't realize how old and outdated they are.

For example, it's before 10am in the morning and I have already said "dope" at least 3 times "bounce" once and "my bad" twice. I never noticed how many phrases have stuck with me all these years. Here are some of my favorites from the 90's, feel free to add the one from your era that you think defines when you grew up!

"Bling Bling" EX: This new watch of mine has me bling blingin'!

"Bangin'" EX: That girl in class is BANGIN'

"Bounce" EX: All my stuff is ready for our trip..let's bounce

"Cheddar" EX: I need to get some gas, you got any cheddar?

"Crib" EX: Just bought a new couch for my crib

"Dope" EX: Man, the new Mix Morning show is DOPE!

"PHAT" (Pretty Hot And Tempting) EX: I saw this girl at the club who was PHAT!

"Props" EX: Yo man, I have to give you props on that shot you just made.

Add your favorite and use it in a sentence!

  • How Thrifty is TOO Thrifty?

    Posted by Nick Steele

    Photobucket

There is nothing wrong with shopping at thrift stores where they sell old used clothes. Sometimes there are some really cool things there that you just can't find anywhere else. Plus it can save you a bunch of money! However, what are some things you just shouldn't buy from the Thrift store?

A guy was about to get it on with his girlfriend when he realized that she was wearing "new" underwear that he had never seen before. Upon closer inspection he realized that although new they appeared to be rather worn out. He asked her about it and she admitted they were bought at the thrift store...she was wearing used underwear.

Is there a line when shopping at a thrift store? What wouldn't you purchase from one? Let us know in the comments below!

  • "Hey Sweetie, Can You Help Me?"

Ever been called "sweetie" or "honey" ladies? Usually it's from a guy and normally it sounds demeaning right? Well you aren't the only one that thinks so, we got an email from a listener that says her boss calls her names like this. She doesn't know what to do about it though, it is afterall her boss. Should she say something to him about how it makes her feel or does she say something?

How do you feel when men call you nicknames like these and are they meant in a demeaning way?
