Celebrity mothers Peaches Geldof (who updates her Instagram by the second with information about son Astala), Kourtney Kardashian (who relishes every opportunity to wear clothes matching those worn by children Mason and Penelope Disick) and Lily Cooper (who has been caught Tweeting that  life is all dirty nappies and pureed food since the birth of daughters Ethel and Marnie), take heed.

Baby-related social media updates, wearing clothes that match your child's, and bemoaning a lack of social life thanks to your growing brood have been voted the parenting habits we find most irksome.

Being forced to listen to a newborn's gurgling down the phone and hearing friends do cutesy voices for their infants are also high on the list of annoying parental pastimes, according to a survey.

From feeding habits to his friendship with Parpy the dog, Peaches Geldof loves sharing information, photos and anecdotes about her son Astala via Instagram and Twitter

Not disciplining unruly tots in public and swearing in front of your children also made the list of the most irritating traits of mothers and fathers, according to myvouchercode.co.uk.

The survey also found that British people aren't keen on parents who wax lyrical about how perfect their children are... and are equally put out when they criticise other people's.

Mark Pearson, My Voucher Code chairman, said: 'It can be tricky to admit to your friends what you find annoying about their parenting habits, even more so if you don't have children yourself as they could return the criticism by blaming you for not understanding what being a parent feels like.

'I guess all you can do is try to see the funny side of these things. And I'm sure even if most of us will agree to find at least one of these things annoying, we'll all end up doing the same once we have children.'

Give it a rest: The parenting habits that get on our nerves

Putting your baby on the phone is a big no-no

    1.    Using a 'cutesy' voice

    2.    Baby-related status updates on Facebook

    3.    Putting babies on the phone

    4.    Not disciplining children when unruly in public

    5.    Swearing in front of children

    6.    Blaming their kids for not going out anymore

    7.    Parents who constantly say how 'perfect' their child is

    8.    Criticising other parents' kids

  • Americans Question EVERYTHING! Or Do They?

We love surveys about which CONSPIRACY THEORIES Americans believe . . . mostly because they make it clear we live in a country that's INSANELY SUSPICIOUS and just a little bit NUTS.

Public Policy Polling just released the results of a new survey where they asked Americans to weigh in on whether they believe a bunch of different possible conspiracy theories.  Here are the top five Americans believe in . . .

#1.)  51% believe Lee Harvey Oswald did NOT act alone in killing JFK, and that it was part of a larger conspiracy.

#2.)  44% believe President Bush intentionally misled the American public about whether Iraq had WMDs leading up to the Iraq War.

#3.)  37% believe global warming is a hoax.

    #4.)  29% believe in aliens.

#5.)  It's a tie:  28% of us believe there's a secret group of elites who are conspiring to take over the world . . .

--And 28% believe Saddam Hussein was involved in the 9/11 attacks.

--Here are the five conspiracy theories with the LEAST support . . .

#1.)  Only 4% believe there are, quote, "shape-shifting reptilian people" who have taken human form, gotten elected to political office, and now run the world.

#2.)  A tie:  5% believe the exhaust from airplanes really contains chemicals used by the government for, quote, "sinister purposes."

--And 5% believe PAUL MCCARTNEY was really killed in a car accident in 1966, and was replaced by a look-alike.

#4.)  6% believe Osama Bin Laden is still alive.

#5.)  And 7% believe the moon landing was faked.

--By the way, ALL of those got fewer votes than the 11% who believe the government knew about 9/11 in advance and allowed it to happen . . . and the 13% who believe that PRESIDENT OBAMA is actually the ANTICHRIST.

You already have to pay extra if your suitcase is overweight.  Now, you’ll have to do the same for your body.  Samoa Air is about to become the first airline to charge passengers based on how much they weigh!  A statement from the airline reads, “You are the master of your air 'fair', you decide how much (or little) your ticket will cost. No more exorbitant excess baggage fees or being charged for baggage you may not carry. Your weight plus your baggage items, is what you pay for.”  Samoa passengers will be asked to enter their estimated weight as well as the weight of their bags upon booking.  They will also be weighed at the airport to confirm they have paid the correct fare. The airline says this method is the fairest way to determine prices, since customers are charged per pound instead of per seat.  They claim it makes sense because the more weight a plane holds, the more fuel is required.  Of course, it also means heavier people will have to pay more, which makes the policy controversial.  In related news, some airlines are shrinking the size of the lavatories to make room for more seats.  Delta is one of the first to order new bathrooms, which are even smaller than the currently-used 3-x-3-foot ones.  The change will allow the addition of four more economy seats.

Do you think this is a good idea? Would you be willing to do this?

  • MTV Shuts Down 'Buckwild'

    Posted by Kristen Flowers

FILE - This Jan. 2, 2013 file photo shows Shain Gandee, from MTV's "Buckwild" reality series in New York. Gandee and his uncle have been reported missing in West Virginia. The Kanawha County Sheriff's Department said 21-year-old Shain Gandee and his uncle, 48-year-old David Gandee, were last seen around 3 a.m. Sunday, March 31, at a bar in Sissonville, W. Va. Family members said the men planned on riding their all-terrain vehicles, but did not say where. They reported the men missing after they couldn't get in contact with them Sunday. MTV announced today it has shut down production on Season 2 of its reality hit "Buckwild," in the wake of the death of cast member Shain Gandee.

A network spokesperson told Deadline that filming has been halted, although it's unclear whether the show's second season will ultimately air, or if Gandee will be featured if it does. If they do decide to feature him, they'll have to tread lightly. Bravo took a lot of heat for continuing to show Taylor Armstrong's late husband Russell on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" after he took his own life in August 2011.

Gandee was found dead this morning when local deputies discovered his body, along with those of his uncle David Gandee and 27-year-old Donald Robert Myers, in Shain's Ford Bronco near Sissonville, West Virginia. The cause of death is still unknown. Shain and David were last seen leaving a bar at 3 AM on Saturday to go four-wheeling, and were reported missing by family members last night.

The 21-year-old Gandee was one of nine cast members of MTV's "Buckwild," a series billed as "'Jersey Shore' of the Appalachia," with West Virginia youngsters fighting and partying a la Snooki and The Situation. But Gandee was actually one of the more likeable and level-headed cast members, and didn't seem to change much despite the sudden fame the show brought with it.

Watch Shain and his "Buckwild" co-star Shae Bradley talk about the show on "Access Hollywood":
